How we met
We both work in music—Malcolm is a DJ, and I’m an artist manager. I got invited to see him perform at a place downtown. After his set, I struck up a conversation, and we immediately hit it off. We exchanged numbers, and the rest is history.

The Proposal
We were walking our dog by Lake Merritt after work. Malcolm made a joke about proposing, and before I knew it he was actually down on one knee. It was a total surprise and the best day of my life.

We took a trip to NYC and had an amazing time with family and friends. I knew he was the one after that trip.

Why Asheville?
Rather than picking a place for one day, we’d rather create an experience for our wedding. An opportunity to bring everyone together to make memories for not just an evening, but for a weekend.
Every time that we take a trip to North Carolina to visit friends and family, we find ourselves sneaking away for a night to the mountains of Asheville. Each time finding something new whether it be hiking, bopping around town, or just relaxing.
